| introduction to My Favourite Planet |

 |
Some say the world's a small place. But if you have spent days on a bus through the Andes, or got lost among the labyrinth of streets of a Moroccan souk, or been stranded at a remote border without the necessary visa, you may not agree.
It is becoming ever easier for some of us to travel to the remotest parts of our planet, but we could all do with a bit of help.
The aim of My Favourite Planet is to bring as much useful, reliable information for travellers onto one website as possible, so that you don't have to go searching all over the internet.
This is a continuous process, and it's going to take us a while to bring so many locations online, because our planet really is a big place.
We are committed to keeping this website as accurate, easy to read and use as possible. So, no annoying pop-ups, banners or weird programming. We will have some advertising to help pay the bills, but we try to keep it relevant to the needs of our readers.
We welcome readers' feedback, so please contact us if there is a particular place you would like to know more about
We also welcome you to take part and contribute your articles, photos and information about anywhere in the world.
We look forward to hearing from you.
