On the island of Agios Georgos (centre of of the photo) stands the small church of Agios Georgos tou Nissiou (Saint George of the Island). The islet immediately to its left is Kalikantzaraki. (See our map on Kastellorizo page 9.)
On the small peninsular (centre right of the photo) is the church of Agios Savvas (Saint Savvas) and the island's cemetery, in which are also graves of French soldiers killed during World War I and other foreigners.
The ship in the harbour is either a water or oil tanker.
