The very blue Diagoras car ferry from Pireaus covers a lot of Aegean sea all year round with the following itinerary:
Piraeus-Kalymnos-Kos-Rhodes & Paros-Naxos-Astypalaia-Nisyros-Tilos-Kastellorizo.
As a ro-ro (roll-on roll-off ferry) it is usually in and and out of Kastellorizo harbour in half an hour. It appears enormous as it almost fills the tiny harbour, It has to do some careful manoeuvering to pass through the harbour's narrow entrance, and then turn to moor its stern to the landing place.
You can find out more about the Diagoras ferry between Kastellorizo and Piraeus on Kastellorizo page 3: getting there.
